About Atkins Touch of Wellness
Kiwanis Atkins is from Gloster, Louisiana, She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, from The University of Louisiana at Monroe, Monroe Louisiana in 2003, a Licensed Practical Nurse from Louisiana Technical College, Shreveport Louisiana in 2006, and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant Michigan in 2008, Associate Degree in Nursing from Lamar State College, Port Arthur, Texas in 2014 and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capella University, Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2024.
She has worked in Nursing for 15 years. Areas of expertise include Medical Assistant Instructor, Charge Nurse in Long-Term Care Health and Rehabilitation, Pediatrics, Assistant Director of Nursing, Hospice Case Manager, Acute Care Settings and Home Health. The many years of experience helped me develop trust and confidence with patients, families, and coworkers by being compassionate, trustworthy, and an accountable nurse.
Kiwanis responsibility as a nurse is to advocate for client needs and treat each client as if they are her family member. The many years of experience have transformed Kiwanis into opening two successful businesses in 2019.
